Officers arrived on-scene to find that a midsized SUV had been crashed into a bus stop, but the driver and anyone else who may have been in that car had already fled.
They also found a line of shell casings along Northeast Prescott leading to the intersection. It appears that the driver was trying to take the corner.
Investigators are trying to piece together several things – like who fired those shots, where they came from, and who was involved in the subsequent crash.
there’s still a mess left behind.
Police had the SUV towed from the scene, however, there’s still a lot of glass in the road.
