Following a streak of sunny weather, clouds and showers will come to Portland on Sunday.

Cool and wet weather will persist for most of the day, but the sun may break through the clouds up north in the afternoon.

The high for Sunday is near 70, with an 80% chance of precipitation. There’s only a slight chance of precipitation tonight, with clouds most likely replacing showers.

There’s a small chance that a thunderstorm or two will develop east of Interstate 5 in the Portland metro area this afternoon if sun breaks appear after the rain.

The dry weather will reappear on Monday, with a high of 76 and just a few showers in the high terrain. More showers are expected Tuesday, with a return to mild and drier weather for the rest of the week.
