WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG) – You can “unwined” and dine this weekend in South Walton. Jordan McCool was live with a preview of their festival.
The South Walton Beaches Food and Wine Festival will be April 25 through April 28 at Grand Boulevard at San Destin.
The event will include dozens of celebrity winemakers, distillers, chefs, brew masters, and entertainers. Proceeds benefit the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation.
There will be more than 800 wines poured by the winemakers themselves along with knowledgeable wine industry insiders. This year’s focus is on Oregon wines. There will also be over 100 spirits to try during the festival.
A new exposition kitchen will allow Culinary Director Scott Plumley of Wine World Restaurants and his team to showcase their craft and serve fresh cuisine throughout the day. Chef Plumley will be joined by celebrated local chefs including Yoshie Eddings of Harbor Docks and classic southern delights directed by acclaimed Chef Jim Shirley.
On the Town Center Main Stage, guests will enjoy live music from the Nashville Songwriters Sunshine Tour.
